The information that you give/enter on the website is for internal use only and is not sold or shared with any other company or data collection vendor. While on the site you may be asked to provide certain types of personally identifiable information that can be used to identify you with.

  • To notify you about changes to the website and it’s services

  • To provide and maintain our services

  • To gather feedback and analysis so that we can improve the service provided

 

We will take all steps necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of information represents your agreement to that transfer.

 

​We may employ third party service providers to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service related services or to assist us in analyzing how our service is used.

Our service does not take or knowingly collect any information or respond to anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected information from someone under the age of 18 that does not have written consent from a parent or legal guardian we take steps to remove such information.

Additionally we are not liable for damages in connection with any failure of performance, error, omission, denial of service, attack, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, or linear system failure.

You indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any and all losses, damages, settlements, liabilities, costs, charges, assessments and expenses as well as third party claims and causes of action, including, without limitation, attorney’s fees, arising out of any breach by you of any of these Terms and Conditions, or any use by you of the site or services.

 

By choosing to participate in a SAKRD journey you understand the benefits and risks associated with partaking in this plant, earth, therapeutic medicine retreat. You confirm that you have been honest with disclosing your health history, including family and personal history of mental health challenges, use of SSRIs, caffeine, alcohol and other medicines, both plant-based and synthetic, as they will impact your experience. Due to the nature of this work and the environment, you understand and consent to all risks associated and that you are partaking in this retreat and using this plant, earth and therapeutic medicine voluntarily, at your own risk. In the event that you become injured and or unwell, either directly or indirectly as a result, in whole or in part, of the aforesaid retreat, facility, healing modalities, activities, and or plant, earth, therapeutic medicine(s), you hereby hold harmless and indemnify SAKRD Journeys, the facilitator(s), facility, their principals and agents from all claims and liability whatsoever. 

You understand the benefits and risks associated with partaking in any activities and healing modalities, including but not limited to walking, yoga, massage therapy, Reiki, sauna and other healing modalities/activities, as well as having image(s) taken while you are there. You acknowledge and agree that your informed, voluntary consent will be required to partake in and receive the aforementioned, and that it can be withdrawn verbally or in writing at any time.

You understand that the details of your history and experience will be kept confidential, to keep that of the facilitator(s) and other participant(s) confidential as well, and that they may be discussed with other facilitators within this organization to offer you more support and improve the SAKRD Journey experience overall.

To partake in a SAKRD Journey, you agree to not have previously taken alcohol within 24 hours, SSRIs within 3 months, or cannabis within 7 days.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

To access the site and participate, you must be 18 years of age or older and must have requisite power and authority to enter into these Terms and Conditions.

 

In order to attend the retreat you will be required to complete an application and participate in a video Zoom call. The application will be requesting you to provide information about yourself such as full name given as expressed on a legal document such as drivers license, passport or birth certificate, full mailing address, along with a phone number. You agree that any and all information that you provide to SAKRD is accurate, current and correct. You agree to not impersonate someone else or to provide any information that is not your own. Only successful applicants will be contacted. We may need to request further information before accepting an application. If there is an error in the email confirmation process, it is your responsibility to inform us as soon as possible.

Refunds

Funds applied to the retreat experience, once paid, are non-refundable. However, funds paid may be used for a future retreat within 6 months of the originally scheduled retreat if one cancels in advance. These funds are only available to be transferred once and all are non-refundable. If one cancels within 72 hours, 45 % of the funds are available for transfer. If one cancels 8 or more days in advance of the scheduled retreat, all funds paid may be used for said future retreat. The services are offered subject to our acceptance of your application and payment and as such we reserve the right to refuse said service to anyone, without the obligation to provide an explanation. We may, and hold the right to, change, add or discontinue any service offered or provided.

If you have a history of mental illness, are currently using SSRIs (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors) or have a clinical diagnosis of depression, unfortunately we can not accept your application. In no way does SAKRD claim that the services provided treat or cure depression or extreme anxiety.

 

 

Voluntary, Informed Consent

By continuing on this website, and/ or completing an application, and / or meeting with SAKRD and any / all affiliates, you understand the benefits and risks associated with partaking in this plant medicine retreat. You confirm that you have been honest with disclosing your health history, including family and personal history of mental health challenges, use of SSRIs, caffeine, alcohol and other medicines / substances, both plant-based and synthetic, as they will impact your experience. Due to the nature of this work and the environment, you understand and consent to all risks associated and that you are partaking in this retreat and using this plant medicine voluntarily, at your own risk. In the event that you become injured and or unwell, either directly or indirectly as a result, in whole or in part, of the aforesaid retreat, facility, activities, and or plant medicine(s), you hereby hold harmless and indemnify SAKRD Journeys, the facilitator(s), facility, their principals and agents from all claims and liability whatsoever. You agree to treat the facilitators, guides, and other participants with respect and dignity. You agree to keep the facilitators, guides, and other participants identifiable information confidential unless explicitly authorized to disclose. Unauthorized touching and infringing on personal space will not be tolerated and will terminate the journey experience without a refund.  

 

Media Consent

You may consent to SAKRD Journeys and its Partners to take or have taken by others, photographs, digital images and/or audio and/or video footage (the images) of you, and to store the images, make copies of the images and publish the images in any form, in whole or in part, and distribute them in any medium including, but not limited to, print media, the Internet, CD-ROM, other multimedia uses or graphic representation, cinematography or video.

 

If you provide said consent, you understand that you will not be paid for giving this permission and you hereby waive any claim that you may have or may have had for remuneration, residuals, royalties or any other payment in respect of use of the images. You agree that SAKRD Journeys and its Partners shall not be bound to make any use of the images.
