WELCOME TO SAKRD JOURNEYS!
Our sacred plant medicine healing retreats are hosted in an idyllic Alberta setting overlooking the Clearwater River. Our philosophy - One Soul at a Time - is to create a space where personal transformation can happen in a very bespoke way, individually or in small groups.
Our retreats are held in an rustic ski lodge type setting. The charmingly comfortable accommodations are nestled in the woods near a quiet river. Paths in the woods are close at hand and are used at various times over the course of the weekend. Retreats are held throughout the year with each season adding its own flavour to the journey experience.

WHY JOURNEY?
We are living in a time where change is happening at such a pace that it is truly difficult to not just keep up with what’s changing, but at times make sense of it. We are being told how important it is to “stay connected” by ever present ads via email, on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or any number of other applications. However there seems to be a disconnect… you’re not sure exactly what it is but you feel something is missing.
At SAKRD Journeys one of the main tenets we strive to recognize is the Mind/Body/Spirit connection and the importance of balance among all three. In a safe and loving environment, with the help of a sacred earth medicine, we move with intention to begin the healing process of bringing this connection back into balance, with the key word here being process. This practice is not a panacea. For some it’s the beginning of a healing path of change in their life… for others it could be a course correction or enhancement. However, for all it’s a reminder that we are ultimately the creator and director of our life path. Through the doorway of vulnerability we can find fertile ground for growth, understanding, compassion and love of self to name just a few areas of growth and understanding.
